First School is a Quality Accredited Arkansas Better Beginnings Program offering Parent’s Day Out, Preschool, and Kindergarten.

Our staff is dedicated to providing their students with opportunities to grow and learn from the play that is so integral to child development. At First School we believe that play is the basis of learning. Research has shown that play-based learning is an effective way for children to develop social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language skills.  

Our staff encourages open ended creative experiences that allow children to let their imaginations shine. First School is an environment that allows children to experience the world around them through their own unique lenses. We allow children to grow through their experiences and strengthen their developmental skills through interacting with their surroundings including their environment, classmates, and teachers. 

Our staff encourages the individualized growth of the children in their classrooms as well as plays a part in the growth of community and family connections. We believe that every child has so much potential and we encourage them to meet it. First School is a family and a community and we want to nurture and grow the bonds we create with the families in our center. We want to be involved in our community and allow children to learn how to do so as well.
